Publicis Groupe’s Zenith Optimedia has expanded its branded content division, Newcast, by hiring two directors: Anthony Azzaro (pictured) and Kim Iadevaia.
The pair report to svp Susan Joseph Smith, who joined the agency at the beginning of the year to run the day-to-day U.S. Newcast operation.
Azzaro and Iadevaia will create and manage the department’s branded entertainment projects, including integrated sponsorships and content development across television, digital, print, events, and other emerging and interactive platforms, the agency said.
Prior to joining Newcast, Azzaro served as a producer with LiquidThread, the branded content unit of Publicis’ MediaVest, where he focused on projects for clients such as Kraft and Mars for over six years.
Iadevaia is a former account and promotions director with MK Creative/Media/Marketing. She has worked with companies such as Lifetime Television, Gospel Music Channel and WE-TV.
