The field has narrowed to six semi-finalists in the review for Go RVing Coaliton’s advertising account, according to the client.The Martin Agency in Richmond Va., McKinney & Silver in Raleigh, N.C., The Richards Group in Dallas and WestWayne, J. Walter Thompson and Fitzgerald & Co, all Atlanta, now move to a second round in the competition for the three-year, $40 million account. Gary LaBella, marketing director for the Recreational Vehicle Industry Assoc., confirmed that the six shops will join Baltimore incumbent Eisner Communications in presentations scheduled for the week of January 7. The coalition, based in Reston, Va., operates as an umbrella of trade associations, representing RV manufacturers, dealers, parks and campgrounds. More than 150 agencies responded to the news that the account was in review.
