Racepoint Tallies in Tech, Healthcare

BOSTON Racepoint Group said it has been tapped by five technology and healthare clients in recent weeks.

The Waltham, Mass.-based public relations company added Atlantis Components and PowerSteering Software, both in Cambridge, Mass.; ClearForest and Imagitas, both in Waltham; and Xvionics of Washington, D.C.

Estimated combined fees for the business are $1 million.

“We continue to see steady growth across all of the key markets we serve,” said Marijean Lauzier, president of Racepoint Group, in a statement. “These emerging companies that have partnered with us demonstrate our continued ability to deliver … results that are clearly aligned with their business goals.”

Racepoint specializes in emerging companies in the technology, health and science markets. Its roster also includes RedHat and Dendrite. Racepoint is a unit of W2 Group, the communications holding company startup formed this year by former Interpublic Group executive Larry Weber.
