DETROIT Sean Neall is returning to J. Walter Thompson to head the Ford Motor Co. account. He replaces Mike O’Malley, who left the position Monday after meeting with ceo Peter Schweitzer [Adweek.com, March 3].

Neall, 51, takes the post of executive vice president, global business director on Ford, and will be based in Detroit, reporting to Schweitzer. He previously spent 13 years in account management positions at the agency from 1984 to 1997. His last position, which he held from 1994 to 1997, was senior partner, executive management director on Ford Division in the U.S.
