Seventeen percent said they’ll shop more at environmentally friendly retailers. Green piety is a godsend for people who dread the bother of wrapping gifts. These lazy souls can pretend to be among the virtuous 20 percent who consider skipping the gift wrap this year so they don’t burden the planet with waste paper. Meanwhile, 25 percent of adults exchanged or re-turned gifts they received last holiday season; 22 percent indulged in “re-gifting.” Recycling at its finest!
