NEW YORK The co-founder of Mad Dogs & Englishmen, which closed its doors last month, has joined Havas’ Euro RSCG here as creative director, effective June 20.

Nick Cohen, 47, will relocate from San Francisco to New York. He will report to executive creative director Jeff Kling, working on accounts to be determined.

“If he replaces anyone, he replaces me. But there was no slot that was vacant,” said Kling, who moved up to the executive creative director spot at Euro RSCG in January, succeeding Kevin Roddy, who left to join Bartle Bogle Hegarty here.
