Fort Franklin Touts Burton Tour

BOSTON Burton Snowboards has selected Fort Franklin to handle promotions for its 2006 Demo Tour, the agency said.

“As an independently owned agency, we have the luxury of taking on business that we truly understand and appreciate,” said Marc Gallucci, CEO and creative director at the Boston agency, in a statement. “Fort Franklin connects with the Burton lifestyle and we are excited to have the opportunity to impact their business.”

Fort Franklin was awarded the business without a review.

Burton’s Demo Tour allows consumers to test snowboarding gear at mountain venues. The tour will make about 200 stops in North America. Fort Franklin will craft print and collateral materials for the promotion. Work will break in the coming weeks.

The agency’s client roster has included brands such as OLN, Dunkin’ Donuts and ESPN.
