CHICAGO The Scotts Co. has consolidated its public relations account in the U.S. and Europe at Edelman, the company said.
The Maryville, Ohio, lawn and garden company’s PR work previously was spread among several agencies. A review preceded the consolidation.
Edelman, which is independent, will handle the business out of its Chicago office under Mark Shadle, evp and managing director of corporate affairs.
The firm’s duties will include reputation management, consumer marketing and employee communications, Shadle said in a statement.
