Creatives Play Musical Chairs

The top creative staffer at Stone August Medrich has left. He has been replaced by a former McCann-Erickson executive, one of several recent creative moves in the area.
Jon Gustafson has resigned as creative director at Stone August Medrich in Troy, Mich., to take a senior copywriter position at D’Arcy Masius Benton & Bowles, also Troy. Replacing him as creative director at Stone August Medrich is Jim Gentry, formerly senior vice president and creative director at McCann-Erickson, Troy.
Also leaving a top post, Kathi Presutti, former executive creative director and vice president at Yaffe & Co., Southfield, Mich., has taken a newly created post at Meridian Advertising in Troy. That agency’s clients include Kmart and the American Cancer Society. Presutti will direct a team working for the latter, as well as oversee special assignments and new business.
Michael McClure, formerly co-creative director with Presutti, steps up as vice president and creative director at Yaffe.
In addition, The Berline Group in Bloomfield Hills, Mich., has promoted Mark Dutil, to senior creative director. In his new capacity, Dutil will be responsible for all the agency’s creative campaigns, said Jim Berline, the agency’s CEO.
