DDB Needham here has hired former McKinney & Silver creative director and Fallon McElligott veteran Pat Burnham as executive creative director. The move comes as the shop’s co-managing director and chief operating officer Candy Deemer plans to depart after a 17-year career.
Burnham will join DDB on Jan. 1. His most recent post under co-chairman Seth Werner at Publicis/Bloom in Dallas lasted only three weeks [Adweek, Sept. 15]. Previously, he served as executive vice president and creative director at McKinney & Silver in Raleigh, N.C.
