Alejandro Acebal has been named regional vice president of Sales for three of Telemundo’s owned stations in Florida.
Acebal will develop and implement all sales strategies for WTMO in Orlando, WRMD in Tampa—and WWDT serving Fort Myers. He’s been the vice president of Digital Sales for the Telemundo Station Group since 2015—and leading OTT sales efforts in the Southeast for NBC Spot On since 2020.
“Alex is an experienced broadcast sales executive and brings with him extensive experience to this role,” said Migdalia Figueroa, president and gm of WTMO. “He understands our market and is an exceptional leader and collaborator.”
He’s worked for NBCUniversal for 26 years and has held different roles, with increasing responsibility in research, local TV ad sales, multi-market digital sales and strategy for Telemundo Station Group.
