LaMonica Peters Moves North to Join KTVU as Reporter

LaMonica Peters is joining Oakland Fox-owned station KTVU as a reporter.

Peters comes from KFMB in San Diego. She posted the news to LinkedIn saying that when she started “this journey” over 10 years ago, she had no idea what would happen but she knew that she was capable.

“It hasn’t been easy but if God be for you, who can be against you?” she wrote. “Started from the bottom now I’m here!”

Before joining KFMB in 2020, she worked at KOMO in Seattle, Spectrum Business in Buffalo, N.Y. and two stations in Mississippi, WCBI in Columbus and WXVT in Greenville, Miss.
