Jim Parker has been named vice president and general manager of Allen Media’s Fox and NBC affiliates KADN and KLAF in Lafayette, Louisiana.
Parker will continue to work as executive news director for KLAF, a role he’s held since August, 2022.
He takes over for Nanatte Lavergne, who is moving on to a new opportunity in local media. Parker has more than 35 years of broadcast industry experience.
“I’m very grateful to Nanette for all her support and to AMB President Chris Young for giving me the opportunity to lead this operation recognized by the Louisiana Association of Broadcasters for having the state’s best large market newscasts,” he said
