NBC Universal CEO Jeff Zucker has spent part of the year answering politicians’ questions as part of the regulatory process for the planned sale of a 51% stake in the company to cable giant Comcast Corp.
But he will take on the role of interviewer this fall in a keynote Q&A with Speaker Nancy Pelosi at a breakfast event organized on Sept. 28 by Women at NBCU.
The breakfast, to be hosted by Lauren Zalaznick, president of NBC Universal Women & Lifestyle Entertainment Networks, is themed “Women In Power: Marketing To The Educated Consumer” and will be part of the annual Advertising Week in New York.
Following the Q&A, Pat Mitchell, president and CEO of the Paley Center, will moderate a panel focusing on how businesses should approach smart and savvy female consumers. The panel will include Daily Beast founder Tina Brown; Donna Speciale, president of investment and activation at Media Vest USA; and Kim Brink, executive director advertising and sales promotion at Cadillac.
