After a two-month review, MTV Networks has identified its new digital ad-sales chief, elevating Kevin Arrix to executive vp, digital advertising sales.
In his new role, Arrix will lead MTVN’s digital ad sales efforts for the company’s portfolio of networks, including: MTV, VH1, Nickelodeon, Comedy Central, Spike TV, CMT and Logo. He will also oversee MTVN’s Digital Fusion initiative, as well as MTVN’s Tribes, a series of demographic-focused vertical ad networks.
Arrix served most recently as senior vp, digital advertising sales. He replaces former digital ad sales chief Nada Stirratt, who left the company in October, having accepted the post of chief revenue officer at MySpace.
Arrix was one of four execs, including senior vps Brad Herman, Heather Hopkins and Jason Witt, who filled in for Stirratt in the wake of her departure from 1515 Broadway.
Before joining MTVN, Arrix spent three years at CBS SportsLine; prior to that, he worked in international ad sales at Turner Broadcasting.
Based in New York, Arrix reports to MTVN chief operating officer Rich Eigendorff.
