If there was one TV pilot that stood out at the 2011 Winter TCA press tour held in January, then it was definitely FX’s comedy Wilfred.
Set to premiere this summer, Wilfred is based on an Australian short film and TV series. The U.S version stars Elijah Wood as a suicidal twentysomething who believes his neighbor’s dog Wilfred can talk.
Correspondent Alan Frutkin spoke with Wood and series co-creator Jason Gann (who plays Wilfred) about the show.
