Clear Channel Radio has created a new marketing consulting unit to work with national advertisers and agencies early in the planning process. The unit, called Marketing Solutions, had its genesis at Katz Media’s Clear Channel Radio Sales, which has already provided customized executions for major brand marketers that leverage the group’s vast footprint and new media assets, such as online, on-demand and HD digital sidechannels.
Marketing Solutions is headed by Greg Glenday, who was named executive vp. He was most recently regional vp and director of sales for Katz Media’s Clear Channel Radio Sales.
Other senior executives from CCRS named to the new unit are: Mary Pultorak, senior vp in Chicago, from national regional vp for CCRS; Randy Gaeckler, senior vp in Atlanta, from vp and director of sales for CCRS; and Jamie Kriegel, senior vp in Los Angeles, from regional vp for CCRS’ West Coast operations.
In addition, Theresa Junkunc, Cary Kimmel, Janie Knight and Adrienne Pabst were named vice presidents in Detroit, New York, Boston and Los Angeles, respectively. Junkunc was formerly senior marketing strategy manager, apparel, for Wal-Mart. Knight was most recently a senior account manager for Greater Media. Pabst recently served as vp and general manager for CBS Radio Sales, west coast. Kimmel was most recently account executive for Pacific Channel Brands.
