Just days before its June 6 spinoff from Time Warner, Time Inc. is making more staff changes. Today, All You and Cooking Light group publisher Diane Oshin announced that she is leaving the company, while People has cut about a dozen staffers.
Time Inc.’s budget-friendly shopping title All You has a new editor, Nina Willdorf, who was promoted from her role as executive editor, which she has held since 2012. She will report to Clare McHugh, who remains the group editor of both All You and Health.
When Time Inc. launched All You eight years ago, it took an unusual step in choosing Walmart as its sole retail outlet. For a new magazine to limit its distribution might seem counterintuitive, but Walmart offered scale (the retail giant represents 15 percent of magazines' single copy sales) and the ability to limit All You's marketing costs.
