Westwood One’s digital exec Richard Kosinski is leaving as general manager of digital, causing the radio network to restructure its digital operations. In a statement released Thursday (Sept. 16), Westwood said Kosinski was leaving to join an “entrepreneurial venture in the digital space.”

Instead of having a separate digital unit, Westwood said it would reorganize digital initiatives, including sales, finance, and research, into the individual operating divisions for more seamless solutions.

As part of the reorganization, Westwood promoted Ezra Palmer to svp of content and product development, responsible for both Metro Traffic and network radio.
