Fox's Phoenix O&O Adds Hour to Morning Newscast

KSAZ, Fox Television’s owned-and-operated station in Phoenix is adding a fifth hour to its top-rated morning news program. The additional 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. hour will debut Aug. 18, extending FOX 10 Arizona Morning from 5 a.m. to 10 a.m.

With mornings becoming a more popular and profitable day part, many local stations are expanding their morning newscasts. Fox’s WFLD in Chicago recently added a fifth hour and KTTV in Los Angeles recently added a half-hour.
