NEW YORK The final five new episodes of The CW freshman drama Gossip Girl, which returns April 21, will be available only on the television network and will not be streamed on its Web site, cwtv.com, the network said.
“For these next five weeks, the epicenter of the Gossip Girl universe will be on The CW’s broadcast television airwaves,” said Dawn Ostroff, entertainment president for The CW.
The network will air the new Gossip Girl episodes in its regular time period on Monday at 8 p.m.
