NEW YORK The Boston Globe will soon start publishing front-page ads.
The news comes just three days after its sibling, The New York Times, carried its first display ad at the bottom of page one.
A Globe spokesman said details on price, size and exact location were still being worked out. He said the decision to run front-page ads was made independently of the Times’ move.
Both troubled papers had sold ads on section fronts in recent years.
