Bob Cook, president of Twentieth Television, will exit his current post in November to head start-up consulting firm MBN Inc., which will develop digital platforms for Twentieth and other distributors.

No official replacement has been announced yet, but Greg Meidel, current head of Fox Entertainment Group’s MyNetworkTV is expected to be named as his replacement.  “We are considering candidates both internally and externally,” said a spokesman at Twentieth.

Twentieth, which remains an active player in court courtesy of strips Divorce Court and Judge Alex, will introduce a half-hour edition of game show Are You Smarter Than a 5th Grader? next fall.

The distributor, in addition, recently announced limited summer entry Wedlock or Deadlock, a combination of court and talk, which will begin on July 20 in a six week test-run on the Fox Television Stations.  The participating affiliates are in the New York, Philadelphia, Atlanta, Tampa, Phoenix, Orlando and Memphis markets.

Current Twentieth talker The Morning Show With Mike & Juliet will conclude in August.
