The folks behind Epic Rap Battles of History (ERB) come up with purely hypothetical, ultimately ludicrous debates between famous figures and characters, and its latest episode is no exception. If you ever wondered what it would be like if George Washington and William Wallace met on the hip-hop battlefield, well, here's your chance to see it play out. The Father of His Country and Braveheart's biting spoken word blows have been viewed more than 7.2 million times since the clip was uploaded on June 30.
Playing off the success of the latest ERB video, Fine Brothers Entertainment asked some older folks to watch the politically incorrect clips and weigh in with their two cents. The overall verdict? The majority of the crowd dug the rhymes and saw the videos as an opportunity to get young people interested in historical figures—even though they were a bit turned off by the foul language. Grandma and grandpa are more down than you might imagine. The Elders React video has been viewed upward of 4.6 million times since it debuted on YouTube on July 3.
