Moving from one culture to ano-ther isn’t foreign to Norm Yustin. In the mid-1990s, the 38-year-old Toronto native helped Leo Burnett open an office in Vietnam—one of the first Western agencies to do so. “We couldn’t bring in any books. You rediscover the art of conversation,” Yustin, who was client services director, said. “You become a very good storyteller, which is good for our business.”

Now, as chief marketing officer at Interpublic Group’s Campbell Mithun, Yustin is hoping to put those skills to use as he weaves together a story for the agency to tell potential clients.

For the past two years, Yustin was a group account director at Publicis Groupe’s Fallon in Minneapolis, working on the Virgin Mobile account.
