Don't be surprised if you see Microsoft's Xbox gaming console popping up in new movies.

Microsoft late last month put Xbox in the hands of Norm Marshall & Associates, the Los Angeles-based product placement firm, where a representative said no deals are yet pending.

Microsoft signed with Norm Marshall in 1999 and later added the Microsoft Network (MSN). Marshall most recently placed MSN's HotMail e-mail service in the movie Bridget Jones's Diary, opening April 13 and jointly distributed by Universal and Miramax.
