DALLAS Jim Wilburn, president, CEO and founder of Winnercomm, has been inducted into the University of Tulsa's Business Hall of Fame.

Winnercomm of Tulsa, Okla., is one of the nation's largest independent sports production, sales and marketing services companies, a winner of 12 Emmy Awards and operator of Skycam, a mobile aerial camera system.

Wilburn, who founded Winnercomm in 1982, serves on the UT board of trustees and has supported the UT Athletic Foundation, the university said.

Winnercomm's Tulsa production facility is one of the largest in the U.S. The company provides network coverage of professional and college football, basketball and hockey, soccer, fishing, hunting, outdoor adventure and extreme sports, pro rodeo, bowling, golf, lacrosse, cheerleading and dance, and horse racing.

In 2004, Winnercomm acquired Skycam, a leading designer, manufacturer and operator of aerial camera systems. The company is relocating Skycam from Philadelphia to a new headquarters in the Tulsa suburb of Broken Arrow, Okla.

Bookings for Skycam in 2005-06 include ESPN's Sunday Night Football, ABC's Monday Night Football, collegiate football matchups including Oklahoma-Texas and Michigan-Notre Dame, as well as the Big 12 Championship, the Super Bowl, the National Finals Rodeo and the World Figure Skating Championships, the company said.
