Williams/De Leon Makes Debut

DALLAS Pete Williams and Mike De Leon have launched Williams/De Leon Advertising, a full-service marketing and advertising agency, the shop said.

The New Braunfels, Texas-based agency opened its doors early this month, according to co-founder and principal De Leon. Targeting clients who want "big-agency ability with small-agency agility," the shop aims to simplify the advertising process by keeping all functions under one roof, De Leon said.

"We would really like to integrate general- and Hispanic-market advertising," De Leon said. "It's something I think we can accomplish as long as we involve both parties from the very beginning."

In addition to Hispanic-market capabilities, the agency's services include creative and strategic planning, market research, and Web-site development and maintenance.

Clients include McKenna Health System, Mickey Ferrell Realtors, Max's Salsa Sabrosa, San Antonio Sound & Light, River City Resorts, The Retreat Day Spa and Settlement Partners. The agency has five employees, De Leon said.

Prior to forming Williams/De Leon, Williams and his wife, Georgia, operated local Trimble-Williams Advertising. De Leon had served as a director at SBC Communications in San Antonio, where he was responsible for the company's regional multicultural advertising efforts.
