Advertisers trying to reach affluent suburbanites have a new outlet. Cachet, a bimonthly magazine circulated with newspapers, targets the growing upscale suburban market.

The magazine, published by Our Time Communications in New York, covers chic travel destinations, new high-tech tools, home and gardening tips, and entertaining, among other topics. The premiere issue appeared Aug. 25.

Cachet will be circu-lated on Fridays to more than 1 million households in targeted wealthy areas nationwide, with that number doubling over the next year.

“We’re able to target into the family’s home using an existing distribution system,” said Cachet publisher Peter Hagen.
