NEW YORK Welch Foods has narrowed the review of its $20-25 million ad account from six to three shops following credentials presentations last week, sources said.

Making the cut were independent Cramer-Krasselt in Chicago, and WPP Group’s J. Walter Thompson and the incumbent, Havas’ Arnold, both in New York, according to sources.

Interpublic Group’s Hill, Holliday, Connors, Cosmopulos in Boston, Publicis Groupe’s Leo Burnett in Chicago and one disclosed other did not advance, sources said.
