Boston Internet phone company Vonage selected Arnold and Media Planning Group to handle its account, the Havas agencies confirmed. Arnold in Boston will handle creative; MPG in New York adds media buying, with its Media Contacts group handling online media chores. Billings are about $75 million; about half of that is earmarked for online. The shops beat out Aegis’ Carat, the media incumbent, which pitched with Freestyle Interactive, the interactive incumbent; and the team of IPG’s Lowe and aQuantive’s Avenue A/Razorfish.
