Viewpoint Updates Cable Net's Image

BOSTON Independent Viewpoint Creative has fashioned a campaign for the Travel Channel.

The work includes various graphic elements that appear during the cable channel's broadcasts, as well as three image spots that seek to entice viewers by playing up the exotic and adventurous nature of Travel Channel offerings, according to the Boston-based agency. Six additional "navigation spots" highlighting regular shows are also in the mix.

Still photography is the basis for the campaign and all elements feature images designed to convey "adventure, spontaneity and a sense of wonder," the agency said in a statement.

The effort will be on-air by month's end. Billings were not disclosed.
