BOSTON Peter Greer has left Via, where he was principal and head of the public relations unit, to launch boutique G2PR.
“As Via hits its growth curve on the advertising side, [that] gives me a great opportunity to take my experience and create a dedicated PR business,” said Greer.
Greer, 44, is not severing ties to Portland, Maine-based Via. His new shop, based in Newburyport, Mass., will work on a consulting basis with several of Via’s clients, including Banknorth and Adams Harkness & Hill.
