U.S. Virgin Islands Set to Name Ogilvy Its New Agency

The U.S. Virgin Islands this week will appoint Ogilvy & Mather agency for its $6 million business, said sources.
Islands commissioner of tourism Mike Bornn said a cut had been made to five shops he would not disclose. A formal announcement will be made Wednesday.
According to sources, four of those finalists are Ogilvy in Atlanta; Enten Associates, Rockville, Md.; Eisner Communications, Baltimore; New York incumbent Lowe & Partners; plus an unnamed agency.
Sources said the U.S. Virgin Islands Department of Tourism had made its decision, pending approval of the territory's division of property and procurement.
