NEW YORK Organic has appointed Adam Turinas as vp, managing director of its New York office.

He replaces Donna Tuths, who left the Omnicom Group-owned interactive agency this summer after more than two years [IQ Daily Briefing, Aug. 25]. He starts as head of the 30-person outpost today, reporting to Organic CEO Mark Kingdon.

In the post, Turinas, 40, plans to strengthen and extend ties with existing clients, such as Tommy Hilfiger and Reebok, and proactively seek new business.
