On June 4-7, 21 students from Texas State University at San Marcos won the American Advertising Federation’s 2005 National Student Advertising Competition in Nashville, Tenn. Yahoo!, the 2005 NSAC sponsor, challenged more than 6,500 students on 215 college campuses to develop a $10 million national communications plan, specifically geared towards teens. Judges from Yahoo! and its agencies OgilvyOne, OMD Digital and Soho Square awarded the TSU students a $3,500 cash prize for their targeted campaign.
