Hammerquist & Saffel has landed a $750,000 advertising assignment for a regional bank and recaptured the creative portion of an estimated $1 million account it handled three years ago.
The Seattle creative boutique won a branding assignment for Washington Trust, a bank with approximately 31 branches in eastern Washington. The agency will create TV, radio and print ads.
Hammerquist & Saffel also has been tapped by K2, the Vashon Island, Wash.-based ski maker, a client the shop had represented up until three years ago. Since then, the account has moved around to a few agencies. For the past year, it was at Cole & Weber's Seattle office, which recently completed a fall print campaign.
Hammerquist & Saffel, which competed against Cole & Weber last year in a review, was recently handed the creative reins without a review because the company wanted a shop with hands-on ski experience. "We wanted someone who could communicate the passion," said K2 marketing manager Andy Luhn. "These guys are real ski enthusiasts."
The shop is working on a new ski product launch scheduled for January. It also will create dealer videos, catalogs and posters.
