Gary Topolewski came to Los Angeles from Detroit as a prime candidate to succeed creative chief Lee Clow at TBWA\Chiat\Day. But that designation now rests with Chuck McBride, and Topolewski is heading back to Motown.
Doner in Southfield, Mich., has tapped Topo lewski as one of five executive creative directors. He will join the agency in late April or early May and report to chief creative officer John DeCerchio.
