NEW YORK The Sundance Channel has awarded creative duties on its $2-3 million branding project to Powell, sources said.
The New York creative boutique will take over ad duties that the nonprofit client formerly handled in-house, sources said. It has not been determined whether the project will include television work as well as print ads.
Also vying for the business was Maxxcom’s Crispin Porter + Bogusky in Venice, Calif. Independent agencies JohnsonSheen in Portland, Ore., and Modernista! in Boston were cut in mid-June, sources said.
