NEW YORK SS+K has promoted seven executives to partnerships, bringing the total number of partners at the 75-person agency to 12.
"All of these people are already acting in a very senior capacity," said Mark Kaminsky, a founding partner of the New York agency. "The [partner-to-staff] ratio is significant. It's based on a bet on the future, not on the present. We're planning to grow."
Being promoted to partner are creative director Josh Kilmer-Purcell, svp of marketing and communications Mary Maselli, svp of public affairs Jonathan Kopp, svp of research Rebecca Matovic, svp of marketing Russell Stevens, svp and managing director of the Seattle office Jay Wampold and network CFO Joanne Pirrone.
"All these people come from related but different backgrounds, creative and research and marketing," Kaminsky said. "When you take the approach we do and take it seriously, you don't say your doing these things and then don't have the people to back it up."
