Square One here today launches the second phase of its 1998 campaign for Whataburger, in which patrons dream up their own ads for their favorite fast-food chain.
Leading off is a 30-second television spot that includes plugs for Whataburger’s kids menu and double-meat cheeseburgers. The new flight of product-specific commercials branch out from earlier image ads in the “My Whataburger commercial” campaign, said Square One partner Tom Hansen.
“I think typically the second phase builds a lot of flexibility, where we will be able to talk about different products,” said Hansen.
