ATLANTA -- Southern Company and Georgia Power has selected Fitzgerald+Co. and 360 thinc, to handle advertising for the combined accounts, which total between $10-12 million in annual billings.
The two shops bested crosstown rivals West Wayne and J. Walter Thompson in a review that began in January.
Fitzgerald and 360 will work jointly to communicate Southern company's strategy of growing its competitive wholesale generation business, which serves the southeast; its traditional retail business and its energy-related products and services. Georgia Power's advertising will continue to focus on customer service and low rates.
Work will begin immediately on a series of small projects. Fitzgerald will handle brand and media assignments
for both accounts. 360 Thinc will handle marketing.
