Heavy snowfall is a given in Cleveland, but Steve Bogas’ nascent operation, Hat Trick Snowplowing, needed a boost nonetheless. With winter approaching, Bogas turned to his pal Tim Brokaw, a copywriter at ad agency Brokaw Inc., for help.

Brokaw got creative in more ways than one. The shop cut out large pieces of white paper from heavy stock and pasted an overhead image of Bogas’ truck and plow on them—giving the impression of snow being plowed.
