Peter A. Mayer Advertising has named Tod Smith vice president and media director. At the New Orleans shop, Smith will assist in new business development and manage the media department by overseeing all client media and marketing research projects. He previously served as a sales manager at WWL-TV. Mayer has also installed Jody Towers as management supervisor. In addition to supervising the account service team, Towers will be responsible for overall agency service and activities on one or more accounts.
