Keating Magee has been awarded creative, media and public relations duties for the Sheraton New Orleans Hotel, the agency said.

The account was pulled from Peter A. Mayer Advertising in New Orleans without a review, the client confirmed.

Keating said it will promote the hotel’s 20th anniversary and its$24 million renovation. The New Orleans shop handled the account for over two years before losing it five years ago without a review.

“[Keating] handled our account when we went through a similar re-positioning of the product and I felt comfortable with the job they did,” said Tommy Morel, area director of sales and marketing for Sheraton parent Starwood Hotels.
