ATLANTA At least seven Southeast agencies are contending for the estimated $4 million advertising account of Shands HealthCare, sources said.

The contenders are Loeffler Ketchum Mountjoy and Boone/Oakley, both in Charlotte, N.C.; Atlanta shops Cole Henderson Drake and Huey/Paprocki; Work in Richmond, Va., The Zimmerman Agency in Tallahassee, Fla.; and an undisclosed Florida agency, sources said. There is no incumbent.

The Florida-based healthcare provider, a network of eight not-for-profit hospitals, is closely affiliated with the University of Florida in Gainesville.
