Shona Seifert and TBWA\Chiat\Day in New York have severed ties, the Omnicom agency confirmed. The move comes a week after Seifert was convicted, along with Thomas Early, of fraud and conspiracy charges related to their work on ONDCP while at Ogilvy & Mather. The split, which sources said stemmed from the conviction, came as no surprise. Seifert joined TBWA\C\D as president in 2002 but had been on leave since Jan. 1 to focus on her defense.
