BOSTON Seidler Bernstein said it has promoted Christopher Dimmock to vice president of brand strategy.

In his new role at the Cambridge, Mass., marketing communications agency that specializes in healthcare and life sciences accounts, Dimmock, 37, oversees all strategic planning and market research for Seidler Bernstein clients. He assesses market conditions, profiles audience segments and establishes metrics for effective communications and measurable ROI. He had been director of account planning.

He joined Seidler Bernstein in 2003 following tenures at companies including Veridiem, Holland Mark, Gearon Hoffman and Arnold. At Seidler Bernstein, he has provided strategic planning for clients such as Boston Scientific, Bayer HealthCare, Genzyme, Haemonetics, IBM Life Sciences and Teradyne.

"Christopher has played a key role in Seidler Bernstein's ability to win new business and develop sustainable brand strategies for our clients," said Kathleen Bernstein, principal of client services. "His clear strategic thinking helps set us apart from other agencies, and our clients notice and benefit from the difference."

"Great creative begins with a solid point of view, and Christopher has demonstrated time and time again the ability to lead teams in establishing a point of view that helps our clients reach the right people with the right tactics at the right time," said Jo Seidler, principal of creative services at the 25-person shop.
