NEW YORK -- Nick Law, creative director at R/GA, has been promoted to vice president of visual design.
In the newly created post, Law, 36, will continue to partner with Chris Colborn, vp of interaction design, to manage the creative department and interactive projects for such clients as Bank One, Nestle Purina and Smithsonian. Together, they will work to develop Web initiatives that incorporate full motion video, sound effects, computer graphics and music capabilities.
Law joined the New York-based i-shop, a part of Interpublic Group, in July 2001. Before that, he was a creative director at Businessmodel.com, where he developed online brand experiences for clients like Ericsson, Curtis Papers and WorldCrest. He has also worked at FGI in New York, D'Arcy Masius Benton & Bowles in London and Pentagram in London.
