DETROIT – Following the death of Ross Roy Group chairman Glen Fortinberry last week, the question is whether new chief executive Peter Mills can take Ross Roy to the next level working with what he has, or need to seek a merger partner.
During prolonged merger discussions between Ross Roy and BBDO, it was clear Mills, then BBDO North America president, would run Ross Roy if the merger went through. When it didn’t, Fortinberry recruited Mills to be his successor.
